After leaving school with an A'level in Art I took the route through further education studying Foundation arts at Mid-cheshire College. My work, though fine art based led me towards design and I completed a BA in Fashion & Textiles at Manchester Polytechnic.
I spent many years working in the clothing design industry, a fantastic career that enabled me to travel and design for well known brands. Eventually hanging up my design hat and retraining as an art teacher. This put me back in touch with my love of drawing, painting and print. Along with some like minded friends I have begun to develop my work through regular practice. |
